WALTER SICKERT

Lifetime Form-lines: 5 / 0052 / 4

Walter Sickert: This son of Galileo is without a doubt the yard star at Clooneavin racing stables. Formerly trained by Aidan O’Brien he only raced the once in the renowned John Mangier purple silks before getting acquired by George Baker in Britain.

He ran four times for trainer George Baker in the UK without any success nonetheless his last few runs for the yard were quite reassuring to recommend he may be a bit of a longer-term project.

Now based with Leanne Breen racing in Warrenpoint – her team couldn’t be happier how he quickly he has settled into life at Clooneavin.

He is impressive big horse you just need to take one look at him and see why he took his time to mature. Great breeding and extraordinary addition to the yard. He is a distance horse and will be a hurdler in time, he ran a good race at Leopardstown last time to suggest he is almost coming into himself.

Breen is learning more about the exceptionally well-bred Walter Sickert every day; she really is looking forward to the future with him.
