Carpet Time: This son of Intense Focus is a lightly raced British import; previously trained by David Barron. He has shown enough promise in his thirteen runs thus far to suggest there is numerous races to be won with this 4-y-o bay gelding; now under the attentive eye of trainer Leanne Breen.
He has been seen to his best effect when able to dictate from the front, given an uncontested lead would see him very hard to peg back, undoubtedly the prominent racing position is preferred style.
His only win to-date, which was on the all-weather track in England, he has run well several times in defeat and has been placed a further three time. Carpet Time is a nice sort, capable of much more than what he has been displaying thus far.
Breen is very confident she can bring this horse back to his optimum, or better. He is unquestionably capable of picking up a few races and can be considered a fun horse for connections.
